We have a helper for AA and first rescue call outs called Pete the dog. Now and again he asks us to show his friends where he has been to.

What Chicks Auto Know
Our Chicks Auto Know course is designed for women who want a better understanding of car maintenance and safety. It’s a friendly introduction to basic car checks that you can do yourself.
Marc gives an informative look around the kiddy carriers that are designed to keep our families safe on the roads.
About an hour long, the ladies who attend come away with practical knowledge from a real working automotive workshop, hands‑on skills, and a few door prizes. One lucky lady even leaves with a pamper voucher from Revive worth $100. There’s always time after for questions, a chat, and a coffee or two.
Designed for groups of twelve or less, this course runs from time to time. Keep an eye on this page or Facebook for the next date.

Pink Ribbon
Automotive Solutions Kauri continues to support Pink Ribbon through a range of community fundraisers, including the Hikurangi Lions luncheon and contributions made on behalf of the ladies who attend our Chicks Auto Know course. One recent donation was $211.00, given to help promote women’s health and support the work Pink Ribbon does across Aotearoa.
Northland Horror - Hearty Halloween
We supported Northland Horror as a Platinum sponsor for their 2025 Halloween fundraiser. The event raised funds for Glass Ceiling, an art‑based charity helping children from marginalised backgrounds, especially those with disabilities.
